Spotted Cyclamen

Postby grevilleagirl » Tue Aug 21, 2012 3:06 pm

I 'm new here so hope I'm going about this the right way. I have this cyclamen sitting in a pot outside, when it originally flowered there were no spots. Can anyone tell me why the change?

Not really sure but I think your cyclamen has Botryis blight due to overhead watering... Always keep the flowers and buds dry.

Thanks for that I'm sure you're right because it would have received water on the flowers & leaves. I didn't think it was a disease because the spots are just the same colour as the darker parts of the flowers. Thanks again.
