Babianas are just such an intense colour. I bought bulbs from Garden Express up at Monbulk.

Check on-line, Yvonne - they often have pre-orders on them at good prices.

Hi Midgin, :D

Yes they are lovely, I've had freesias for so long, but love the deep blue of the Babianas,
I need to work out where to plant them for the best show also.

Cheers, Yvonne

We planted our original ones about 10 years ago ... they seriously need division now. Amazing plants. A lot of our other bulbs weren't good this year with seriously strange weather up here, but the babianas are still magnificent, year after year.

Yes Sam they are eye catching with that deep blue, :)

I have the deep blue agapanthus also, much more stunning than the common ones. :D

Check out the new agapanthus release, Yvonne - Amethyst. It is stunning - and produces multiple flower stalks each year. I'm not sure where it is available from yet.

That is gorgeous Sam, :)

Mine is 'Regal Beauty' & there are about 14 flower buds so far, so they will be looking great for Xmas,
