Looking for a climber.

Postby Cosmic » Sat Oct 23, 2010 12:49 pm

My daughter is looking for a clmbing plant to put down the side of her house. It is narrow so she doesn't want anything too abundant or that will need supporting other than some tellis on the fence. It is dappled shade - gets a bit of sun but not a lot so would need to be reasonably shade tolerant. An suggestions - she's in Hobart and gets some frost but that area is well protected.

One of the toughest sites to grow anything, particularly when limited to climbers.

Honeysuckle or Trunpet Vine........both aggressive.
Jasmine, could try Clematis
Never believe anyone who says your proposed garden is too big!!!

Remember, treat others how you would like to be treated.
