Flowerless mint bush

Postby Barbarajoy » Sun Nov 20, 2011 1:29 pm

Three years ago I planted a mint bush (prostanthera ovalifolia) bought from a tube stock nursery. It grew quickly and I kept it tip-pruned for the first couple of years. After seeing some magnificent ones in flower in Tasmania in Nov.2010 I stopped pruning mine and had hoped I might see some flowers this year but as yet, nothing. I was wondering if any member from Queensland has grown one and had it flower. Perhaps mine is still not mature enough yet.
