Geraldton Wax

Postby Lilacat » Fri Oct 04, 2013 11:40 am

I'm new at this so I'm not sure if I have the right forum. My question is, I have a Purple Pride Geraldton wax in a pot in full flower but the ticket didn't say it needed fertilizing. Could someone please advise what sort of slow release to use and when.
Thanks. :?: :?

You can use any type, I usually put it on in Spring and at the end of Summer while it's still warm but not hot. If the run off from the pot is near any Grevilleas, Banksias, Hakeas, then probably best to use a native plant fertiliser instead. You can get decent ones at most nurseries, hardware stores and even supermarkets. It'll need a a bit of Summer watering in a pot.
