What is the ID of this native?

Taken in the Kalbarri area, WA. Can someone please help me with its name. I wrote it down at the time - somewhere!

Do you remember it being a Melaleuca?

Absolutely. And I'm not sure that the different colours showed the age of the flower.

Melaleuca nematophylla would be a guess, although mine is more purple. The leaves are very similar, but the flowers are not as convincing!
