Lemon Myrtle in a pot

Postby BornFree » Sun Jun 21, 2015 6:56 pm

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has grown Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) in a pot?

I have read they can grow as pot plants ... I was wondering has anyone successfully done so? How big is your pot? How big has the tree grown? Any tips?

I would be looking at placing a couple in a light well in Sydney. Mainly shaded.

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

They are easy to grow as pot plants. I've got one in a 60cm pot that's quite deep and keep it clipped. It lives under the deck in summer and only gets direct sun for a couple of hours a day and it thrives.
