Indoor Potting Mix

Postby Kismit79 » Fri Apr 28, 2017 9:32 pm

Hi all, I am after some advice on what potting mix everyone uses for their indoor plants? Is a premium potting mix safe to have indoors in the bedroom for example? All the warnings on the bag are making me think twice. Or would a better alternative be to make my own? Does anyone have any suggestions for a good home made potting mix that you use for your plants? Thanks :)

I use just commercial potting mix. Most of the warnings pertain to breathing in possible harmful spores or bacteria. This is most likely to occur when the bag is opened in a confined place. Usually the mix in your plant pot will be moist so it would be unlikely to cause dust.
