Brown marks on potted bay tree leaves.

Postby jonoville » Fri Jul 28, 2017 12:49 pm

Would anyone be able to tell me what is causing these brown spots on leaves on my small potted bay tree.
Many leaves have tiny spots only but a few are as bad as this one but I want to nip the problem in the bud before it gets worse.
I live in Grafton so it's getting cold at nights but it is partially under cover and doesn't get a lot of sun.
It's been fine since I bought and repotted it about a yer ago.
I'm not sure if I have overwatered it. Could this be the problem?
Thanks.

It could possibly be a fungal problem if it has not been getting enough light. I would suggest you spray it with a fungicide ( readily available in garden sections at some supermarkets or certainly at nursery suppliers and garden centres).

You could take a leaf to a good nursery and seek their advice, too.
