Toad stools?

Postby Forum_mod » Fri Mar 14, 2003 10:33 am

Help!!
This is not a bulb question but any help will be greatly appreciated.
My lawn is smothered with Toad stools/mushrooms every morning. I am located mid northern NSW. Should I leave them to die? pick them out each morning?\(which is what I have been doing\) or just mow over them??
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi Tony,

they can\'t do any harm - toadstools and mushrooms are simply a sign that you have healthy soil. If you have small children it would obviously be wise to remove them daily as you have been doing - otherwise it is up to you whether you want to look at them or not.
