Bulbs that are likely not to perform after the first year in Brisbane include Daffodils, Hyacinth, Crocus, Tulips and even Dutch Iris unless you are in an area that receives cold nights during winter. Stick to lines such as freesia, ixia, sparaxis, babiana, ranunculus, jonquils, ornithagalum etc.
There is a climate guide on page 2 of the catalogue that details the lines most suitable. It would also be a good idea to mulch all areas growing spring bulbs.
