Silver Birches

Postby froglover » Wed Oct 25, 2006 10:52 am

The silver birches we bought from GE last year when they were tiny little sticks! Just look at them now! They fit nicely into the back corner of the garden and give a woodland effect.

Thank you! And these are just the little ones! A few of them are nearly 2m tall!!! I'll have myself a little Birch forest in no time! :D

If you look carefully, up in the right hand corner you can just see the foxgloves. Our little cottage is to the left of the photo... the blue house is our neighbours!

Hey, Pokie - how you doing?! :)

Thanks - it takes a lot of work but it's worth it! :o)

Sorry we never got to Floriade, by the way! Had unexpected visitors and then just ran out of time! You get that! :)

great view froglover! I have planted out a silver and paper birch forest this year and already the trees are growing on strongly.
Paradise hangs shadowed in the forgotten corners of gardens.
