Unknown Pine

Postby lmrk » Thu Dec 27, 2007 5:07 pm

Hi guys

Bought this pine just before Chrissy with the intention of it being a future bonsai. Does anyone know what it is (so I can work out how best to care for it)? It has 2 cute little cones on it at the moment.

Cheers

Leah

I'm not too sure Leah, but it appears to have clusters of 2 or 3 needles and looks very much like a Radiata Pine. Known in other parts of the world as Monterey Pine. Pines are not one of my 'strong points' as I prefer deciduous and broadleaf trees. Anyone else have a better idea?

Thanks Taffy. Thought it was a radiata.
