Judging Criteria and Prizes

Postby ian » Fri Dec 01, 2006 6:35 am

The Garden Express Rose Photo Competition is for the photographs of roses in garden situations. The variety of rose featured in the photo should be identified wherever possible.

Photos of roses in a garden setting are preferable though specimen shots of individual roses in flower are also acceptable. Photos should show the beauty of roses and how they can be used to enhance a garden. The photos can incorporate other plants and landscaping features.

Photos are not restricted to the range of roses available from Garden Express, though the inclusion of such roses will be a positive attribute.

One of the criteria is that the photo can inspire others to try similar ideas in their own garden.

First Prize is a Garden Express Voucher to the value of $200.

Second Prize is a Garden Express Voucher to the value of $60.

Closing date for entries is 16th February 2007.

If two photos are equally good in other respects, if one is of a rose from the Garden Express range and the other isn't, one with the Garden Express rose will win!
