My photos

Postby jack » Wed Apr 25, 2007 9:36 am

Sadly they are not all from my garden but rather what i am currently trying to create. They are from a collection of snap shots i have taken on my travels around the wheatbelt and perth in the month of april 2007.

They certainly generate inspiration, all great shots.
Don't be afraid to colour outside the lines.

i have a folder containing over 1000 photos (i have taken), on how my garden is being done. Is the best way i know on how to design a garden, which will be 800 square metres in size. So i take photos for each corner or room that i want, then group them in a sub folder by that name, then when i get to working on that corner of garden i dig out the shots to find out what i need to order/do or find.
Just was feeling  that people thought they where taken in my garden, which is still sadly at least 12 months or more from completion.

well have the orchard near completion, waiting on a dingo to dig three holes to stand up a 5 metre wide archway or fence not sure how you word it, but is 5 metres wide using recycled iron from the pouring of my house slab and cutting hole in middle to allow access to orchard and got passionfruit to grow over the iron.
moved the caravan on sunday by hand, which was the temporary home while i was building house, which is still under construction but at lockup, so caravan was living in the future vegie garden area.
the front slope to home is now 90% complete, 20 or so native (wildflower) plants all grow under 1 metre and 800 bulbs for spring, with compost and limestone.

It's an absolutely fantastic selelction of photos, jack. I just love all of those colour/texture combinations that you've captured, especially the ones where statues and more have been integrated. :D
