Yani, I stand corrected. Not sure why I put paniculatum originally. Common names are : Mock orange, Cosmetic Bark, Satinwood, Orange Jessamine, Chinese Box.
The Estate, it is about 10M long and 180cm high. We had difficulty growing it because of the poor soil - mainly shale and sand- so it does not need very heavy pruning. The lack of water has also caused reduced growth. We would prune only three or four times a year at present. This is not the dwarf variety which can be kept very much lower.
Poor Pam, seeing this probably does make you feel a little off colour knowing the effect strong perfume has on you.
