My front bed has 700 bulbs in it, daffodils etc finished already, but the 1000 everlasting seeds are coming into their own.

Nice collection jack. They look like they're planted really nice and thickly. :D

they are thick, bed is 6 metres long, 1 metre wide and 30cm thick in compost, on the edge of my house sand pad, which out front is 60cm off the ground. so under this 30cm of compost is clay. also has several dripper lines feeding through it.
bulbs are a 700 mixed pack from garden express. at least 1000 everlastings then sowed over the top of them. i say at least as i have a pack of 1000 that went in with first rain and another pack of 1000 which i scatter a handful every week or so for past 6 weeks to keep the flower show going. have wildflower walk/festival thing happening in town next weekend, so when people drive by they will be impressed.
