We had an old pine post for hanging a hammock that is no longer in use so I put on my thinking cap. Put in those metal ring hoop pot holder things and found some cheap terracotta pots to fit. Its a great height to work at and the kids pick the right herbs rather than weeds. In summer when its real hot the beach umbrella is easy to tie up to the post for extra shade as well. :)

Rosie, that's a fantastic idea. Are the rings the screw-in kind?

I had a giggle at your file name.

ROFL re file name. I'm not the best photographer and I couldnt quite see (without glasses) on the little camera screen whether the shot was any good. I would take a photo or three and come inside and load it on the computer to get a better look. I would then see what needed adjusting. Of course this didnt impress teenage son who was constantly being interrupted. I got the family to help judge which one they all liked. We had to label the 20 or so photos because they were so alike. We all agreed that this shot was the best of my lot. To my surprise (shock horror) the file name went with it. ROFL :D
