This is the Garden Express Edible Garden Photo Competition. Entrants need to be Garden Express Forum members. Please refer to the Competition Terms & Conditions and the specific Judging Criteria and Prize announcements. Entries closed March 30th 2008, winners announced.

Competition Terms and Conditions - Edible Garden 2008

Please read and abide by the following Competition terms and conditions:

1. By submitting an entry to a competition you acknowledge acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Entry in the photo competitions is limited to Garden Express Garden Forum members (membership is free).

3. Entrants may submit more than one entry though a maximum of 5 photos per competition is strongly recommended unless each photo is significantly different to the others. Multiple entries or entries with multiple images may be edited by the Forum Administrator to avoid excessive download times by those viewing the Forum.

4. Entries may be posted directly to this Forum or they can be emailed to Image. Photos submitted via email will be posted to the Forum at the discretion of the Site Admin.

5. Copyright for the images must belong to the photographer submitting it.

6. Entrants give explicit permission to Garden Express to use their images in relation to Garden Express catalogues, web sites and other promotional material as Garden Express sees fit. Where practicable, photographers will be credited with their work in Garden Express printed catalogues unless they request otherwise.

7. Photos submitted must be in keeping with the theme applying to the current competion(s).

8. All photographs entered into the competition must be suitable for publication online and in magazines and therefore should be suitable for a general audience.

9. Although lower resolution images (approximately 600x400 pixels) should be used for posting entries to the Competition Forum, entrants must be able to supply a high resolution digital image on request (preferrably >1Mb .jpg format image).

10. If a photograph includes a recognisable person, the photographer must have the obtained the permission of that person to be included in the photo. Where the photos is of a private garden the photographer must also have permission to take photos on private properties.

11. It is the entrant's responsibility to ensure that all the necessary permissions are obtained from any people featured in their photograph(s) and from owners of private property used as setting for the photograph(s). By submitting a photo to the Competition, the entrant is confirming that such permissions have been obtained.

12. Empoyees of Garden Express and their families are not eligible to enter.

13. The prize(s) must be taken as stated. There will be no cash alternatives. If insufficient entries of adequate standard are submitted we reserve the right to not award some or all prizes.

14. Prizes unclaimed after 28 days will be deemed to have been forfeited and Garden Express reserves the right to offer the prize to another entrant.

15. The decision of the judges is final in every situation and no correspondence will be entered into.

16. We reserve the right to change the conditions of a competition at any time and to postpone or cancel a competition at any time.
