petal strewn path

I thought this deserved posting somewhere. With the cool damp weather we are having, the fallen rose petals are keeping their colour to make a good display.

i agree with pam.....
the ultimate picture of "roses" .....do the petals still have a bit of the perfume ?????? that would make sitting there just unreal !!!

The pink rose is "Mary Wallace", not a very fragrant rose. The white rambler is R. gentiliana syn "wedding day" which has a nice wild rose scent.
