Suitable standards

Postby chrisval7 » Tue May 01, 2012 5:51 pm

Hi everyone.
I a thinking of putting in a row of alternating yellow and red standards in the front of my yard.

At this stage I am thinking suitable roses for the display may be Red Cross (for teh reds) and Just Joey, or Pat Autin for the yellows.

Here in the Barossa Valley we have cold winters (I have the fire on as I write this!) and the summers can be very dry and hot. Adelaide weather suits roses really well.

Anyone got ideas on what roses would look good in this display?

hi there.... Kardinal and Frisia would look nice together, as the blooms on each are tighter and more formal...
