rose identity

Postby myzeke » Sat Nov 16, 2013 5:01 pm

I have found a rose in an old ladies gaden which looks very much like pierre de ronsard however it is not a climbing rose. I would like to grow this rose if I can find the name. Any help would be greatly appriceated

It might be a David Austin rose, try looking at all the David Austins to see if you can match it.

Thank you for your reply but I think the petal formation is all wrong or they are too young to be a DA. Color is PDR but they are more swirled than my red pierre which is quarted.I do not have a PDR
