The winners of the Summer Garden 2008 Photo Competition are:

1st prize - $200 Garden Express voucher - abwal for "A Walk in the Forest":

2nd prize - $60 Garden Express voucher - shonkster for "Out the front at Agavi house":

Congratulations to abwal and shonkster. The best thing about this comp was the tremendous variety of gardens represented - large and small, established and new, formal and informal. Also the were some good examples of what can be achieved with not much more than some good ideas and a bit of effort. Hopefully everyone gets some inspiration from everyone who shared their gardens.

Thank you to the judges and to all the forumites. It has been your interest and kind comments that have made me regain my interest in photography.

I told Pam she should have put on her Garden Express voice to make it sound official...

I would hate to be in the judges' position with these comps!

Great photos and well deserved winners.

Have fun spending, both of you. Don't forget to let us know what you spend on.

Uh, yeah! I figured Abwal would have read his email and known about it, but he didn't. I ruined the surprise.

Both winners well-deserved nonetheless.
