Lemonade Tree

Postby cass » Wed Jul 20, 2011 5:22 pm

I am at a loss as to what to do with an abundance of Lemonades on my tree.

While it is nice to eat straight of the tree, to be honest it is more of a summer flavour (would be perfect as a juice after a long walk) and we tend toward juicing our oranges instead.

I don't want the fruits to go to waste but I do not know what to do with them. I would love a great Jam or Butter or even a long-life cordial.

(NB... They really have the worst name making it near impossible to google for any recipes at all).

try googling"lemonade fruit recipes" that seemed to work.

I've never had a problem with eating them fresh, just peel & eat like a mandarin, problem has always been not able to get enough from my tree to just keep doing it! fruit not available commercially as far as i know in Perth. Perhaps you could barter the fruit?
