Pheonix Graft instant Bonsai

I did this as a demo back in September 09 and didnt upload it , so here it is short and sweet .

The yellow box hardwood stump , groove out in a spiral fashion ready for the Savin Junipers to be attached

2nd Juni attached and potted into a Bonsai pot , a quick trim "bare minimum" as the more folige the faster the trunks pump and sqeeze themselves into the groove , thus attaching to the Hardwood . Pics taken September 5th 2009

These are the progression shots taken January 24th 2010 .The foliage is very good due to the fertilizer "power feeding " process . The trunks are secure in the grooves, the final shape and style has yet to be determined possibly stanting style .Cheers

When those skinny trunks spread and flatten against the deadwood, that's going to look quite natural. Another successful outcome!

Hi Taffyman , i'm very happy with the growth rate from "tomato starter "so it shouldn't take too long to fill the trunks out .Cheers
