these boots were made for .........

Postby Bulbinella » Sat Jun 07, 2008 5:13 pm

planting... of course :!: :!: :!:

when the sole of one of my old gardening boots split I almost threw them out.....then I had one of those inspiring thoughts ...."mmm :-? mmm ...yep, I'll plant 'em up" ( and yes I know, it's been done before, so I can't take credit for this idea :D)

but I must say, I do think my little Native Violets are growing quite well in them.

Very clever Bulbinella...am constantly amazed at some of the ideas that pop up on this Forum! :)
Tai Chi - Mind, body and spirit are all exercised simultaneously. The continuous flowing movements of Tai Chi are based on the principle that running water never stagnates. The gentle movements relax your muscles while strengthening your body and mind.

yep, and I don't think it will be too long before I'll have to give them a trim in order to see the boots underneath :D

thankyou everyone :!:

and Luzy, I actually dreaded the thought of throwing them out, I had, after all, been wearing them for soooo long....they were very comfy.
