Orange flowering bulb ID please.

Postby shipschutney » Thu Feb 06, 2014 12:38 pm

This plant is flowering in my garden now (Feb.) and can someone tell me what it is? It is under a metre tall and has fairly broad strappy leaves and this orange bunch of flowers coming out about halfway down the plant among the leaves. I live in the Fremantle area, Western Australia. Could it be a clivia? If so, which? It is in a pot which it is outgrowing and I have had it for many years but I think this is the first time it has flowered. Image Image
A weed is just a plant growing in the wrong place.
