Can someone please help id this tree. We've recently moved here- wollongong, south of sydney. Coastal suburb.

It could be camphor laurel. Do the leaves have a strong smell when crushed?

Hi there, thanks do much for replying. I've just googled this camphor laurel... Whilst it doesn't have a smell when crushed, it certainly looks similar to this tree. I notice it's a noxious weed in NSW... Interesting. Thanks so much for your help. It's something at least..,,,

I'd say camphor laurel. Sometimes the leaves don't have that great a smell.

I'd hate to be having to clean those gutters. It would be a never ending job. lol
