Rose id please

Postby DrDuncs » Sat Jun 07, 2014 9:41 pm

Hi. My wife got these roses as a present yesterday and would like to know what they are please. They look like 'Remember Me' that garden express currently has available?

Thanks HortMaset. Had a look at some of the online pics for Tequila sunrise. Not sure if Tequila sunrise is more of a yellow colour than these. Also they seem to have the copper/red colouring more on the tips than on the outer leaves. It's not easy to tell though as some photos look very different to others.

If they have come off someones bush the Tequila Sunrise is your best bet, otherwise it could be a rose for the florist trade.

They look too perfect to have come from a garden, so assuming they came from a florist, if you know which one you could ask them for its name. They'd have to know because that's how they order them.

Lovely colour, whatever they are.

I knew someone who managed to strike cuttings from a bunch she was given. Might be worth a try.
