ID please

ID please

I have been sent this photo and was wondering if anyone knows what plant it is? Albury area NSW...in flower now...ta

The flower is a catkin, which could belong to any number of deciduous trees that flower at this time of year. Maples (Acer spp.) and ash (Fraxinus spp.) produce these flowers. It's likely to be one of them - post a pic when they leaf out!
