Tree ID help

Postby Gardennovice » Mon Mar 23, 2015 11:39 am

Hi. I'm new to the forum and my husband and I have been embarking on a big clean-up and redo of our back and front yards. We have been getting rid of a heap of cottoneaster, privet and firethorn and planting new shrubs and trees in their place. I am also trying to learn more about our plants and trees so I can plan future upgrades of our yard. I'm trying to make the garden as nice yet easy to maintain as possible. I was hoping I could get some help in identifying some trees I shrubs I cannot put a name to. I will start off with a couple but may add more over the coming weeks.

First is a tree. It is deciduous. Starts off with yellow leaves which turn a dark green in summer. The leaves then fall off in autumn. The bark is a beige colour.

Many thanks.
