BIG RED-lilly Pilly-syzygium - Problem

Postby NA51 » Sun Aug 30, 2015 4:43 pm

Hi All,

I have these big red lilly pillies, I put them in about a bit more than a year ago. I bought them as mature plants to screen out a neighbour. They have been doing well. But recently I noticed the tips of the trees drying out, especially the new growth. I initially dismissed it as frost burns, then it seems it's slowly spreading out to the mature leaves. The soil was a bit dry during winter. But it's nice and moist now. It's in well fertile soil. Can anyone pls tell me what's going, as I would hate to lose these trees.
