who grows these in melbourne. any success?

my yard is north facing and we dont get frosts, but i dont think i can plant it near the house (for warmth). will this be an issue?

I do, but mine are in pots on the front porch and do well (Y)

They are generally ok to plant near walls as their root system doesn't tend to be damaging.
