transplanting conifers

Postby TASBEL » Fri Jan 02, 2009 1:03 pm

I was wondering the best was to transplant conifers? I have the following conifer (not sure on name) Image And we are planning on putting a driveway through where it is located. I would hate to just cut it down.

Also does anyone know if people would want a plant like this in tassie? If so where would be the best place to advertise?

I believe it is one of the cypresses, but not sure which one.

With regards to advertising, find your local freecycle group (freecycle.org and work your way down the list) or advertise it as a give away in your local weekend shopper liftout. We have quite a few Tasmanian members so they should be able to help you further.

Welcome to the forums - you have a lovely view.
