Hi Guys,

I have english box, and they are only 20cm tall. Do I need to prune them regularly in order to make it very bushy?

Thank you,

With any hedge you will need to start clipping pretty much straight away. Make sure you trim the sides on a bit of an angle so that the sun can reach the botttom of the plant, that way you won't get a gap at the bottom of the plant. English box (down here) tend to get two growth spurts a year so make sure you are trimming while it is happening, that way you get the best results. Make sure you also use shears as the electric / petrol hedge trimmers chew up the leaves and give you a terrible finish.
