You can't beat trees for beauty, better than any art gallery. Plant some trees today, soon you will have a beautiful tunnel like this.

Lovely, Tam. Sometimes I think we need a change of climate. Then I see some of the problems caused by snow and ice and I come back to reality again.

Absolutely beautiful. Warms the soul! (As an aside, went to an open inspection today in our street. The house for sale has a magnificent, huge, flowering gum on the footpath. Its no trouble to anyone and is home to many little parrots and lorikeets. One prospective buyer said "Oh, I HATE trees! That would have to go"...I couldn't believe it..and couldn't resist answering her and said "Well, I really hope you don't buy the house, because we, in this street, love it". Really, how can people "hate" trees...good grief...

Well, Lilly, I know of two people who hated trees because they dropped leaves. One of the two concreted a broad path around his house & planted the rest of the yard, front & back, with lawn. No trees or shrubs or even vegies for him. Beautiful, or so he apparently thought.

Oh well, Woko - as they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" - but that kind of "garden" ain't for me. (I do know a couple of ex-neighbours of ours hated trees because they encouraged birds! -)
