Leighton Green Hedge - Will it Fit

Postby beginnergardener » Tue Mar 25, 2014 1:34 pm

I planted Leighton Green plants about 1.2m apart on the side of residential block going right to the front fence. I will be able to prune the top and this side but won't be able to prune the far side, will the closeness of each plant stop it from getting too big (according to the standards of anyone who might complain)? There is still time to replace them with Lilly Pilly, but I like Leighton Green for the fast growth rate.

Are the roots at all invasive, it is near a small retaining wall, could it ever cause a problem?

Thanks
