Neem Tree

Postby meriash » Sat Jul 16, 2016 6:07 pm

I am moving to a yard with a large Neem Tree growing in it.

Can I grow orchids on it and under it, or other plants. Please.

If it provides a lot of shade, you will probably need to choose plants that will tolerate a lot of shade.
You will need to choose orchids that tolerate shade or they may not flower. You could have them in hanging pots and hang them from suitable branches or attach them to branches where they will get some morning sun.

Thanks Abwal.....I have heard that plants don't grow under it because of the soil being affected by the neem oil.

and was wondering if that is true . trouble is it is a beautiful tree .
