If you want a good pair to cut through the hard or bigger stuff Karyn, I can't recommend the 2WP ones highly enough. There was a recommendation for the loppers on one of the other forums a few months back, so when i was given gift voucher, I thought the way you do, and figured I'd lash out on something I wouldn't normally buy. I'm a shocker for losing hand trowels, secateurs, anything that's not tied down, really, in the garden. These things are fantastic though, and certainly make light work of what secateurs wouldn't normally handle.
