I agree, although there are some good chook message sites around. I know some people who post here also visit the chook shed, I do occasionally.

poultry is hardly gardening (nor is recipes), but to help aid your cause, maybe it could be placed like recipes is, ie put it in a forum in this case the Sustainable Gardening forum. its the place where the most people who uses chicken manure hang out. plus it may attract some duck, geese and guinea fowl lovers.

Hi i like chickens ,they do there bit for the garden mainly the manure , not the scratching. Any one know how to stop rooster from crowing at 3am .Not the chop.

a rooster box is the way to stop him - - put him in each night - and he can't stand up to crow - - I think there's plans on either australian poultry or backyard poultry
