easy 2 metre high screen/tree to grow

during winter you can propergate populus up to two metres in height and is very simple to do.
you take a cutting and literally push it into the ground by enough to allow it to stand with out stakes, come spring you get the leave buds opening and the roots thanks to the wonder of nature soon follow.
i created a 20 metre long hedge of populus simonii, which are a better form of populus as they dont sucker and love the hot dry heat of my summer, plus a 2 metre tree adds instant impact.
with my populus at home i purchased three 2 years ago that where 1.5 to 2 metres each in height, they now going into third spring and are over 6 metres high (can tell height as that is my building height and they now same height), i am using the cuttings from the tree that is growing the quickest and its cuttings are growing as quick.
