Lemon fruit rotting

Postby JaneMacg » Sun Apr 13, 2014 12:54 pm

My lemon tree is finally producing lots of fruit, but each fruit is turning brown on the end as it ripens. What can I do?

What have you been giving it in terms of nutrients?

Forgive me if this sounds daft (I'm a total noob myself), but make sure it isn't actually a lime tree! Limes turn yellow when they are really ripe, so if you are watching them expecting them to grow bigger and yellower, they'll be well past their prime before you think they've even started.

Not that I would know this from experience or anything
