bay berry seed update

Postby gardenlen » Fri Aug 29, 2014 8:01 am

ok,

3 seeds got iced water in bottom of fridge routine, and 3 got boiling water on bench top both for 2 week period.

planted them all in individual 1 gallon pots using pot mix then layer of seed raising mix over and under seeds

then soaked pots in water for at least 8 hours

forgot plastic packets to create covers but will work something for now.

fingers crossed
With peace and brightest of blessings,

len

I have potted mine up and put them in my little hot house.
Hopefully one of us will have success.

Do you mean the small seeds that you sent Len?
I very much doubt the coloured strawberries will be any good. I tried the pink flowering ones and they hardly produced any fruit.
