I have pickled some black olives but they are quite salty, any suggestions to reduce the salty taste?

Do you rinse them after removal from the pickling solution?

For the next step you may wish to try:
Pour out all of the brine solution from the bottle and replace with cold fresh water. As the salt leaches out of the olives, you will have a light brine to keep them in.
