I'm a complete ignoramus (no idea, clueless, etc.) on your topic, Cor, but it's very nice to welcome you, so far from your place (Y) Gotta be a 'know-all' amongst us  Good luck (yn)

Cor........Ann's point is logical :-? As she mentioned; if you go into the Fruit & Produce forum & Goto Page 2, you'll find under Rhubarb Recipe, a rhubarb champagne : another, under Rhubarb Wine, but both recipes start from stalks. Soooo, I dunno :?

Rhubarb wine

Postby Cor » Tue Jun 06, 2006 1:38 pm

Good day;Thanks for the replies.

Sure you get juice from stalks. However,if you chop the rhubarb in small pieces, then freeze it in the deepfreeze, then let it thaw out again, then press or squeeze it,you'll get a lot more juice. And you don't have to hang a bag full of mixed stuff in the primary container. You'll be able to
make a bigger batch of wine! No? That's why I asked for a juice recipe.
Thanks a lot folks.[
