Black spots on lemons

Postby nbarakat » Tue May 24, 2005 2:48 pm

I am hoping someone can assist. Last year we had a good crop of lemons, but this year all the skins seem to have gotten a rash of black spots. I am loathe to use the lemons just in case. Can anyone tell me what has caused this and what I can do to stop it happening again. Many thanks.[/b]

It sounds very much like a fungal disease, which would require an anti-fungal spray. This happens more in tropical areas - where are you located?
