Irises and last of the tulips

Postby Marrion » Thu Oct 20, 2005 7:14 pm

These "Menton" tulips are the last to bloom and I tried to get them when the Irises opened, since I took this, the dutch Irises have also opened but the tulips are finished

Ahh, Marrion, that's beautiful, once again! :D All the colours are wonderful - and so many different greens, as well. (Y) :D Is that statice to the right? The foliage is sensational! :D

Thanks, Sam, yes it is the perennial Statice and has lovely foliage, have found it doesn't like being moved though, I split up a clump last year that had grown too large for a corner and none of the bits survived :( so had to buy another one The iris is "Beverly Sills" and I will post another image of it on the gallery later.
