ID pest on Lemon Myrtle leaves

Postby BelindaH » Sat May 03, 2014 10:24 am

I had a perfectly healthy lemon myrtle tree until recently, and now something is eating at it's leaves. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

It could be beetle attack (Monolepta beetle). It looks a bit like a ladybird, though a little larger. It has red on its back near the neck and red spots. ( Also called 'Red shouldered Beetle'.)
Check above and below the leaves and remove any you find.
