Unknown Brom

Postby midgin » Sat Sep 13, 2014 5:27 pm

I found this fellow, hidden in the midst of my broms. I have no idea as to which leaf belongs to this brom.

Any ideas as to what it may be, please. TIA.

It's a Billbergia of some sort. It's a bit hard to tell which one without the foliage though (at least for me.)

Sorry Pam but it is Quesnelia Liboniana. It is probably that plant with the plain green foliage on the right.

Always happy to be corrected Tam. One of my pet dislikes is misnamed plants on the net, because one person sees a plant that they think looks like theirs and decides that must be it. They then sell or share it under that name, then the next thing it's everywhere with the wrong name on it.
