These were from just before Christmas - such amazing flowers. First is Oriental Lillium Georgette (though I called her 'Squashed Bananas' - a term of endearment...) The rosemary helped hold her up and gave her a bit of shade - now the cucumbers are growing over the remnant foliage
And these are second year mixed Asiastics - the yellows in particular really took off...
Thanks for reminding me, Thee! I meant to add - for Pam's reference - that they had a very pleasant, light smell, with just a touch of frangipani to it. I'm sure that Pam won't believe me...
Both lilliums look great Luzy! So many blooms AND buds, especially on the yellow one!
I really need to put in more effort with my lilliums this year and transplant into the ground instead of pots I think!
They do seem to like being in the same spot, Spider Lily - those yellow ones were so much bigger and with more flowers than last year. I must remember to fertilise them again, too...
Abwal, as much as I love them I have a feeling that lilliums are going to be a plant that I will have no luck with. I will persist for a couple of seasons though
